Real estate in Temecula is reasonably priced and considered to be a bargain compared to Orange County prices. The city has good employment, but many residents commute to San Diego or Orange County for work. The 15 freeway provides easy access to these areas. Overall, the city enjoys a warm, Mediterranean climate. Above the city, the gated community of De Luz is on the Santa Rosa plateau with a much cooler climate.
