Many buyers prefer a detached home for the privacy, the yard, and often the freedom from a home owners association and high HOA dues. Single family homes are also preferred for investment property, as they retain a higher value over time. The list below includes single family homes priced at $400,000 or less, in Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Lake Forest, Ladera Ranch, Mission Viejo, Fullerton, Anaheim Hills, Yorba Linda, Brea, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Fullerton, Anaheim Hills, Orange, Brea, Yorba Linda, Tustin, and the canyons (Modjeska Canyon, Silverado Canyon, and Trabuco Canyon). The home list may include standard sales (equity sellers), short sales, foreclosures, homes needing TLC, or bank owned (REO) properties.
