San Juan Capistrano, CA Homes & Real Estate
 |
The
city of San Juan Capistrano in South Orange County, CA
was created around Mission San Juan Capistrano, and
many of the homes and buildings in the city resemble
the Spanish architecture that compose the Mission
building. It is home to the widest variety of houses
in Orange County, with 10 million dollar homes in the
gated communities of the hills, homes built prior to
1900 in its central district — some being adobes
from the 18th century, and working ranches in its
foothills Mission San Juan Capistrano, the
Birthplace of Orange County, was founded more than two
hundred years ago. Today it is a monument to
California' s multi-cultural history, embracing its
Native American, Spanish, Mexican and European
heritage. The town is also famous for its cliff
swallows that migrate to Argentina each year and
return like clockwork. |
