Wagon Wheel Canyon real estate and homes

Wagon Wheel Homes and Real Estate

Wagon Wheel in Trabuco Canyon is a little known Orange County community located just outside of Coto de Caza on Oso Parkway. The community was created as a more affordable out-crop of Coto de Caza. It includes one condo tract and five single family home tracts, including one gated neighborhood. Like neighboring Coto de Caza, one of the biggest advantages of Wagon Wheel homes and real estate is the low Mello Roos. This is because the master developer subsidized much of the Mello Roos, rendering it much lower than many comparable neighborhoods in South Orange County. The HOA dues within the Dakota condominium tract have also been kept very reasonable and are much lower that many similar condo communities in neighboring Rancho Santa Margarita. Because of the community's location, many homes have beautiful views and close proximity to open space and wilderness areas.

The Wagon Wheel community includes a top elementary school and close proximity to award winning middle (Las Flores) and high schools (Tesoro). It also includes a large,15 acre sports park with facilities for Little League baseball, girl's softball, and soccer, plus its own children's park (Ronald G. Wells Park). The community is located right next to Thomas F Riley wilderness park, which is a large, County nature preserve. Residents of Wagon Wheel have immediate access to the 241 Toll Road so that they can easily commute to neighboring OC areas.

Wagon Wheel home search

Wagon Wheel is a very family-friendly community that includes its own park and an elementary school. Home buyers can choose from 2 bedroom condos, affordable single family homes, larger detached houses, or luxury-level real estate in a gated development. The following links will help you find Wagon Wheel homes for sale or for lease, including pet-friendly rentals.

Note: Some real estate agents list homes in the MLS for Wagon Wheel under Trabuco Canyon, rather than under Rancho Santa Margarita, subdivision Wagon Wheel. Others occasionally list homes under Coto de Caza. This means that there may be more homes for sale in the community outside of those listed on the links above. Please call me for a complete list.
